How to watch the 2026 US Open tennis tournament
The 2026 US Open Grand Slam tennis tournament begins August 23 and runs through September 13.
New York will be buzzing with excitement as Arthur Ashe Kids Day kicks off the Fan Week festivities on August 23.
While being there in person to watch at the USTA National Tennis Center is optimal, many US-based fans will tune in via television.

Primary networks are ESPN, ESPN 2, Tennis Channel
ESPN and ESPN 2 will have the lion’s share of the live programming with over 170 hours of coverage spanning from qualifying rounds to the final. ESPN Deportes will also provide over 100 hours of Spanish language coverage.
Tennis Channel will have select qualifying matches, fan week festivities, and beginning and end-of-day highlights and analysis throughout the tournament.
ABC is in the mix for extensive opening day main draw coverage on August 30 and the men’s final on September 13.

Mark your calendar for must-see Week 1 events
The US Open mixed doubles championship qualifying rounds, semifinals, and finals are August 25-26. ESPN2 will air the qualifying and semifinal matches while ESPN will air the final.
Roger Federer returns to New York on August 25 for an exhibition airing from 8-10 pm on ESPN. (Federer will be inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame on August 29.)
On August 27, “Stars of the Open” consists of an exhibition including Americans Learner Tien and Iva Jovic and international superstars Joao Fonseca and Alexandra Eala. It will air on ESPN2 from 6-9 pm.
